Good morning!
My project today is going to be my Christmas Card. I used the Sweet Season stamp set & the Merry Christmas can be found in the Christmas Greetings stamp set. I embossed the image Old Olive craft ink with Clear Embossing Powder.
After I embossed the image I punched it out with the Scallop Circle Punch and layered it on the Old Olive Scallop. The Old Olive Scallop is from the Pennant Die. Here’s a tip for you….I took one sheet of all my favorite colors of cardstock and punched out a bunch of these scallop circles. I store them in a glass container so I can reach in anytime & grab one 🙂
I took apart a Clear Rhinestone Brad, removed the gem and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot.
Here’s the back of the card…..
This year I’d like to include this on all my cards …but if I get behind I may eliminate this step.
Differences between the two cards:
- The Rhinestone Brad was attaching using the Paper Piercer with my Chic Stand.
- Added Dimensionals to the Old Olive Scallop
- Merry Christmas is a tad too high on this card
Have a great day!

Fabulous card, love it.
Wow! Sometimes less is more and that is what this card is. Lovely!

I just love this card. Simple yet elegant. Thanks for sharing.
What a fabulous card! It’s so simple and elegant. Great for mass producing!
Ooooo!!! You know how I LOVE the simple cards! Sometimes a clean card can look simple, but when you make them, they look fantastic! I am most jealous. I don’t have the Pennant die. I absolutely love this card! I have made a card I think I will use for my Christmas card. I will have it posted on my blog on Saturday night. It is so nice! PLEASE go check it out and tell me what you think. Thanks for sharing.
AWESOME card!! Like the other ladies have commented…less is definately more. So simple yet very elegant. I may have to do something like this for my Christmas cards. Your ideas are just amazing. Keep ’em comin’.

I like this clean and simple (but beautiful) Christmas card! The font on Merry Christmas is perfect.
I just love how simply stunning this is! TFS.
Simple yet elegant. Lovely!
Hi Angie:
I look forward to your cards, videos, comments, etc. each day.
I have a question. You always show the front of the card with a list of all the supplies. Which is very helpful. However, what does the inside of the card look like? I know there has to be something stamped on the inside. There are times I have the front of the card all planned out, then I second guess myself for the inside. (ie-is this too busy, not enough, too small, too big, etc.
Any suggestions would be a big help.
I just ordered a couple of your “chic stands”. Need something to help me with the brads as I have arthritis in my fingers.
Thanks for all your beautiful ideas.

Love it.. very simple, clean, crisp, nice looking. Not all jumbled up like some I’ve seen. But your’s are always nice and crisp looking!! Connie in NM
