I’m happy to report that the New & Improved Chic StandsTM have arrived.
You’ll notice that they are twice the size and thicker 🙂 I listened to all your requests and I hope that you love the new design as much as I do! I’ve posted a few extra pictures here so you can see the difference.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thanks!
5pm update…..I’ve had a few of you ask me about the Chic Stand so I decided to repost the video. But remember the new Chic Stand is larger (I’ll try to film a new video soon).
We made it home last night and it was truly a miracle! But……I won't go into that just yet (Stay tuned this week).
Let's talk about this darling project first…..it was on display during the incentive trip and I was super excited to see a new post it note holder!!
I'm not sure who made it but it's right up my alley and here's a picture of the inside…..cute isn't it? I can't wait to make one myself!!
The image is from the Bella Blossoms stamp set and it's on our Dormant List. (Item number is 111596 and it's 23.95). If you have the 2008 Fall & Winter Idea Book & Catalog it's on page 102.
Have a good night!
p.s. Our trip to Hawaii was amazing and there's so much to tell that I'm not sure where to start. I also took around a thousand photos :) In the next few days I'll be playing catch up and I'll try to get some photos loaded in the Hawaii album (on the right side).
p.s.s. A few people have ask about the new products and new colors. I will not be sharing any details. I'm sorry if you're expecting it, but I really do try to follow the rules & we've been told that it's only fair that Stampin' UP! introduce the new product. When it's worded like that I totally agree with them and I'm sure you do too. Can you imagine if someone told you about my Chic Stand before I had a chance? It would break my heart!! Speaking of Chic Stands….they've shipped and should arrive this week. I'll be posting the details very soon 🙂
Today's project was made with the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Paper and the Yummy stamp set. (Yummy stamp set is a free set during Sale-a-bration.
You can find a video on how to make this bag on my Stampin' Academy. If you type "Blessing Mix Box" in the Google search box (on my website, left side bar) it will bring up the video. Click here to head over to my Stampin' Academy.
Thanks for stopping by…Have a great day!
p.s. I'm loading a few photos in my Hawaii photo album. One picture is of the Mahi Mahi I caught on our deep sea fishing trip…..one is of Chase's cut and the other is of Chase Brook & I. I'll add more when I get a chance.
p.s.s. Today is the first official day of our Stampin' Up! incentive trip :)
Hi, I covered this note pad to bring on my trip ….but I accidentally left it on my desk. I'm just happy all I forgot were my almonds and my notepad!!
I used the Eastern Blooms stamp set and stamped one flower in Kiwi Kiss and the other two in Baja Breeze. I cut them out and attached them with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Have a great day!
p.s. Day two of Hawaii has been great! Started out just like yesterday…watching the whales. Then we drove to Kona and ate lunch at Bubba Gumps. We did the Forrest Gump trivia and didn't miss a single question 🙂
Hi from Hawaii 🙂
My project today was made with the brand new die for the Big Shot. It's the Matchbox die and it's available April 1st & you'll find it in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
The Mini Catalog features some amazing new product and if you're a customer of mine you should be receiving this catalog any day!! (quick reminder for the girls on my team….if you're a new demonstrator, you can pre-order those items now…email me if you need help.)
I made the Matchbox with the Tea Party Designer Paper and the Quilt Quips stamp set. The butterfly is layered onto squares and the scallop was punched with the Scallop Square punch. If you're curious about the Matchbox….it works just like the Nugget Box, it's just cuter!!
Have a great day & thanks for stopping by!
p.s. Day one of Hawaii has been fantastic. We started out the day on the balcony drinking our morning coffee and watching the whales …it seriously brought tears to my eyes. Next….Chase & Dave went snorkeling and Chase cut his hand : O more news soon!
Hi, just a quick update…..it's midnight and I'm still packing :) I managed to stamp a few things today & the pictures are on my laptop…….but I need to get back to packing. I'll either post tomorrow at the airport or in Hawaii. See ya later!
p.s. I told you all last year that if I earned this trip I would share all the details. I've created a photo album and it's on the right side of my blog. Currently it only has one photo….our cute luggage tags but I'll add more soon 🙂

Isn't this card amazing? Melissa gave me this card yesterday & I think I squealed with delight when she handed it to me. I love it….thanks Melissa!!
I thought you all would like to know how it was made….so I wrote the instructions on a picture :) Although some of the products are retired…I copied it exactly so you can see how it was made. But ….can't you see the Tea Party Designer Paper with this?
She used the Top Note Die & the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plate. Here's the picture… (you can click on it to view it larger).
The stitching was done with a black marker & the edges were sponged. Wouldn't you love to have a quilt with those colors?
