Big Shot Box #2 & a new video

Cheep Talk Box 2 open Good morning!!

I'm really excited to show you today's project & video!  And…..if you are one of my club girls…this is one of your February projects.  If you need info on joining my 3-D Kit club, click here.

If you'd like to watch my video on how to make the Box #2, click here 🙂

My box was made with the New Big Shot Box #2 die.  I used the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Paper with the Cheep Talk stamp set.  The ribbon is one of the Free items you get during Sale-a-bration.  It's the Ribbon Bundle and it's featured on page 5 of the Sale-a-bration brochure.

What is Sale-a-bration?  For every $50 (before tax & shipping) you purchase…you get to choose a free item from the Sale-a-brationbrochure.  It starts tomorrow Sunday, Feb. 1st.

Also during Sale-a-bration, if you sign up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator the price has been reduced to $169……you get an additional free stamp set from the Idea Book & Catalog…and …it can be any price.  On top of that…if you Join my Team..I have a free gift for you too!  In fact, I'm so excited I can't decide between the two choices…. so I'll let you decide.

Here's a couple more pictures of the box 🙂

Animal Crackers stamp set

Animal Crackers card Good morning!

Today's card is an example of the Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plates.

Don't you love the Animal Crackers stamp set? I wish it said "I quack myself up"…..just kidding …I use both phrases a lot (it's a southern thing…right?).

I posted a video on my Stampin' Academy last night. If you have any questions, please let me know.

A few questions have already been ask and I thought I would share them with you.

Q.  Why did you use the rubbing alcohol?

A.  If you spray the alcohol on your colored cardstock, it makes the embossed image more defined…or you could say "pop". Honestly, the plates work great, just the way they come.  You'll see when you get them 🙂

Q.  Do I need to buy rubbing alcohol?

A. No, you do not need it!  But there is a lot of talk about it & I like to get it out there.

Q.  One extra layer of cardstock, gets the same effect?

A. Yes

Q.  I get 6 templates for one price?

A. Yes, isn't that incredible?  Backgrounds #1 is just $11.95 for 6 patterns and the Plates Kit #4 is just $9.95 for 6 patterns.

I hope this help you all!!

Have a great day!

Stamps:  Animal Crackers

Two new videos & a winner :)

Good evening!

Thanks for all the really nice comments you guys left me over the past two days!  I really appreciate it and I have read every single one of them….that's why I'm late posting the winner.  Congrats to Nada!! You won :)  Please send me your address and I'll get the goodies out to you asap (my email is [email protected]).

Chic StandUpdate….I figure I better post it on this blog too :)  they are on backorder….and ….they are being re-designed…New & Improved!!  I expect my shipment late Feb or early March….I think it will be worth the wait and when they arrive you can expect a new video 🙂

Speaking of videos I've filmed two new ones….do you want to hear that it took me 12 takes to get them?  I swear…the phone rang, the dogs barked, the kids shut a door, the phone rang, the dogs barked. I kid you not!!  I made Chase and Brook come watch them so they could see why steam was coming out of my ears…just kidding…but seriously I was about to call it a day…maybe you'll get a kick out of them knowing how much effort I put into it :)

The first video was on the Big Shot Texturz Plates.  After showing you the Bag with Scallops the other day I had shared with some of you that a video was coming…..thanks for being patient with me!  Click here to head over to my Stampin' Academy to watch my video.  Tip……if you're wanting to see how the rubbing alcohol is used…it's on the video.

The 2nd video is the Bag w/ScallopsClick here  to go watch that video.  Remember when I told you I had made several of the Bag w/Scallops?  Here's a couple pictures of two more of them.

You quack me up

The first picture …..I used the Animal Crackers Stamp set with the So Saffron Striped Ribbon. I sponged So Saffron ink after I embossed it with the Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plate.

Sunshine Scallop On the next picture I used the Good Morning Sunshine designer paper with the Cheep Talk stamp set.  I still want to play around with it….I'm missing something 🙂

Thanks for stopping by….good night!

Scratch n’ Win aka Blog Candy

Scratch n Win Jan 09 Congrats Nada!!  You've won my Scratch n' Win :)  Please email me your address and I'll get it shipped to you right away!!

Good morning!

I need a pick me up and giving something usually does the trick.  If you'd like a chance at my Scratch n' Win, please leave a comment on this post and I'll draw a winner on Thursday at 10pm.

What's in the picture?

I'm super excited about the Under $10 page in the New Idea Book & Catalog and the Fun Flowers is just one of the items (page 208). Next is what I made for myself and I thought you might like it. It's a keyring with a sample of all the new Texture Plates.  I found that is was easier to keep this on my desk so that I can match it when I'm stamping….good idea isn't it :)  Also notice the three new Striped ribbon colors…I wish we had that style of Striped ribbon in all our colors!

Have a great day!!

p.s. I need a favor…..I'm attempting to get caught up from being sick last week….if you sent me an email or needed something and I didn't respond, please let me know.  I answered a ton of emails and then I got several of them back….I'm wondering is it me or the internet??? Maybe I sent to many in one day?

p.s.s. last minute addition….to sweeten the deal…I'm going to add this Bag w/Scallops to the Scratch n' Win 🙂  Be Happy Olive

Bag w/Scallops & Texture Plates

Be Happy Olive Good evening!!

I couldn’t wait to show you this project!! It uses a bunch of new product J

The first item I used is the Bag w/Scallops Big Shot Die. The minute I saw it in the catalog it went right to the top of my wish list!  I’ve made at least 10 of them in all different colors and I’ve even made a few with designer paper J  You have two options…you can leave the sides off or attach them….look at all three pictures to see the difference (see pictures below).

The next item I used was the Texture Plates #4 & the Backgrounds #1.  They are so pretty and you just can’t beat the price!!  I’ve got a few tips & tricks to show you ….coming soon J

Next is the Polka Dot Punches stamp set….good news for ya….…this is one of the stamp sets you can get Free starting Sunday! Yes, you heard me right….for every $50 you spend you get to choose a Free stamp set from our Sale-a-bration catalog.  I love it because all the images work with our awesome punches!  The other stamp set I used is the Darling Dots and that’s the hostess set I’m giving away for my January orders.  Click here to read the details on my free Monthly stamp set.

Last but not least…..the Old Olive Striped Ribbon. I love this collection of Striped Ribbon and I was very happy when Stampin’ Up! added three new colors to the collection.

Thanks for stopping by….have a great day!!

3-D Kit Club

Many of you have been requesting the projects that I post for my clubs.  I love that you are so excited about getting your hands on them!   You are the inspiration for my new club.

Now is the time to sign up.  The first projects will be ready to go in February!  Let’s get right to the details:

Each month:

*Place a minimum order of $35 on-line through my Stampin’ Up!  website.  Orders must be placed by the 10th of each month.

*You'll receive supplies and instructions to make two 3-D projects & they will ship each month on the 15th.

*Commit to a 6 month membership.

*There will be a one-time, up-front cost of $30.00 ($5.00 per month) to cover the cost of shipping.  Your project supplies will ship Priority Mail & you’ll get them within 3 days.  You may PayPal that amount or send me a personal check.  After the shipping fee is paid in full, your club membership will begin the following month.  (Example  – if you join now….you’ll start with  the Feb. club projects.  Join in Feb….you’ll start with March projects.

*Have access to a blog for club members only.  This is where I’ll post the instructions/and or videos. This blog is simple & low maintenance….and my way of communicating with the members of my 3-D Kit Club. You are required to check this blog for updates.

*Your name will be entered into a drawing for a FREE monthly stamp set!

*To join please send an email  to [email protected] and arrange to pay the shipping fee.

*Please make sure you read the Questions and Answers before you join.

Frequently Asked Questions (I will continue to list questions and answers as they are sent to me.)

*Will this order count toward Customer Appreciation points?  No, that would be like double-dipping J

*If I place a $70.00 order, do I receive 2 sets of projects?  No.

*Can I purchase more than one set of projects.  At this time I can’t offer that, but in the future I may test it out.

*Why pay the shipping up front?  Keeping track of who pays for shipping & who hasn’t … a paperwork nightmare and I need to spend my time more wisely (like creating more fun projects).

*Do the kits come pre-stamped?  Sorry, it does not, it's actually against the rules for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to include stamped images in kits.

*Where do I send the check?  My address is 14127 Parkhill Street, Overland Park, KS 66221.  Please make check payable to Angie Kennedy Juda.

*What email do I use to send my Paypal payment?  Please send your payment to [email protected].

*Can I join club if I'm not in the US? Sorry, that option is not available.

*What do I do if I don't own the stamp sets you use?  You can always use a different stamp…'d be amazed at how easy this really is and if you need help I'm just a phone call away (or email).

*Do I get a free catalog?  Normally you would ….but starting Monday, Feb. 1st, Stampin' Up! is sending free catalogs to everyone that places an online order.  I took this into consideration when planning this club.  Perfect timing…free catalog and free stamps all in the month of February!

*Are these projects exclusive to this group? No, that's the beauty of this, I'll create two projects a month and all my clubs will make the same them.  That saves me time and allows me to order in bulk.  Don't forget the two projects you are getting are Free…you pay the shipping, but that goes right to the post office.

Check out the project pictured below!  Just darling, isn’t it?  When you sign up, one of these "bonus’ projects will be included in your first month’s kit (yes, it includes an incentive stamp too).

Join Club gift

Extra info…..I’ve heard from so many of you regarding joining my clubs and I really appreciate your interest!!   In forming this club I tried to look at it from every angle to make sure that I can afford to offer this service to you.  If you’re a member of one of my other clubs, there are areas that are not working , either with timing or money so I  spent a lot of time trying to come up with a club that would work for both you and I.  I hope that you are pleased.   As always if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me either by phone or email.
