Aren’t these treats the cutest??Do you remember the Frankenstein & Mummy bars I made last year? They were such a hit ….and I wasn’t sure how I was going to change things up for this year…..until today….with a little help from a friend J
After the week I’ve had some of my friends called to check on me and when Julie called she also told me about the Craft Fair items she was working on.I needed a pick me up & going over to her house really helped!I loved what I saw so much that I had to rush to Lowes when I left her house…… so I could copy her Frankenstein box for my Halloween Treats Class (Thanks for sharing Julie!!!)
I can’t take credit for him……except the mouth….I can’t draw a lick…but Julie can JSo…… I had to use a template.Either way…..I love him!!
The picture today includes just two of the five items I’ll have in my Halloween Treats Class. All the information will be posted next week (Class date… Cost & Kits).
We are taking a much needed break and going to the Lake house…I pray I don’t end up going to Tennessee (my sister Kim may need surgery). My next post will be on Tuesday Sept. 2nd.Have a safe holiday weekend!!
Thanks for your prayers & the really nice comments yesterday!!

Today’s card is another favorite card that I received at Convention. That means….not my creation….but I love it! (oops back to the pink and chocolate again.)
That’s the one image in the Pun Fun stamp set that I haven’t used…..yet! I’m saving this card for a Stamp a Stack or a Card Kit. (Thanks Pat for making such a sweet card.)
Lots to do today…thanks for stopping by!!!
p.s. What I’m about to share….is a bit much…but I need to explain. The past week has been unreal and I thank God for you all and for stamping….otherwise I would be really depressed. In one weeks time, I’ve had an uncle pass away, a great aunt pass away, my daddy rushed to hospital..now on a heart monitor and then last night my sister was admitted into the hospital. We are all okay…..but I’m a bit distracted & not as productive. I could act like nothing has happened but I know some of you really want to know. In the old days (before stamping), I would probably be depressed for several days…but stamping and the interaction I have with all my customers, downline & blog friends makes a huge difference and I’m very thankful. I’m okay….please don’t feel that you need to leave a comment….I know you all care 🙂 thanks!!
I was reminded yesterday that Halloween is right around the corner and that got me to thinking…….it’s time to start working on my Halloween Treats class. That has been one of my most popular classes over the years and I can’t wait to get started on the projects!!
I made this card using the Batty for you stamp set, Sanded Background & All Holidays.
It’s so cute when the little bats swings (is that the right word? swing? or maybe spin?). After I made it I thought of a couple things I could change….if it all works out I may add it to my Halloween Treats class. Stay tuned for more details!!
If you’re thinking you’ve seen this card somewhere before…..you’re right 🙂 On page 125 of our new Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog you’ll see a box that’s decorated just like this. It’s not my creation but I really like it and it looks like an Angie card 🙂
I used the Say it with Scallops Stamp set with Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze (sorry my colors look a little off, took the picture at night).
Thanks for for all the really nice comments for Chase!! That was so very kind and he’ll enjoy reading them many times over (me too).
Have a great day….see ya 🙂
p.s. Ribbon Shares were supposed to end yesterday but I forgot to remind you….so I’ll extend it one day. Tonight at midnight is the deadline to participate on this round of Ribbon Shares. Click here to head over to my Chic n’ Scratch Shack to place an order.
I’m putting the writing at the top today so you’ll know that the card I’m about to show you was made by my 15 year old son…. Chase….along with some help from me 🙂 He’s very artistic and can draw anything he puts his mind to and after I share the card with you I’ll show you two of his latest drawings. I wish I could draw like him!! I thank God for stamps so I can be creative too 🙂
Today’s card uses the Under the Stars stamp set. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it & knew I had to order it right away & yes….it’s another set on the 15% off sale. I swear Stampin’ Up! really picked some good ones to discount!!
We had a lot of fun making this card…I was going to do a typical Angie card and Chase said he wanted to help….so this is what we came up with. The card I made later is at the bottom of this post….I made it for my daddy 🙂
Have a great day and thanks for checking in!!
p.s. Stampers Club #2 is tonight 🙂
Stamps: Under the Stars & Inspired by Nature
I’m amazed at the detail he puts into his drawings!!! (you can click on the pictures to view them larger.)
Can’t you see that bear saying ….."I love you thissssss much"?
I just couldn’t resist…..I had to make one of these Coaster Clipboards using the Maine Blueberry Designer Paper….before I’m done I may have one in every designer paper we have in our Stampin’ Up! catalog!!
Good news…I filmed a video on how to make them and it explains how I got the lined paper. Truth be told…..I used lined paper and cut it…then my good friend Sandra perfected it! Gotta watch the video to see it. (Thanks Sandra for tweaking it….it’s a real life saver!)
