Hello!

You gotta tell me….are these cards cute or what?  I’m so thankful that Julie let me run over to her house and play with her new stamps (I’ll get mine on Thursday).  THANKS JULIE!!!

Are you sick of Christmas ideas or is it okay that I’m stuck on Christmas in July?   This time of year is so hard for me because there’s not really a big holiday around the corner….and……the new catalog is arriving soon!  It’s a terrible thing to say….but,  I have a hard time using my older stamp sets in July. (I’m sure several of you can relate :)))))

Club girls, make sure you make note of this….The Deer Friends stamp set used on these cards is a Level 2 Hostess set in the new catalog (arriving next month).  The way to get a Level 2 Hostess set is to have your event reach $300 (as long as the new idea book and catalog doesn’t change).  That’s it for the business stuff today….keep reading if you want to hear about my little vacation 🙂

Have a great day & thanks for checking in!!

Stamps:  Deer Friends (Level 2 Hostess set – 2008/2009Fall & Winter Idea Book & Catalog) & Polka Dot Background

Ink:  Old Olive, YoYo Yellow, Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie & Chocolate Chip

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Old Olive Designer Paper, Whisper White, Cutie Pie, Chocolate Chip & Real Red

Other:  Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Punch, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 Circle Punches, Silver Cord, Dimensionals, Paper Piercer & Chic Stand

The Dirt…..I’m alive & well!!! and happy to report that I read 4 books and took a nap every day.  It was great….no TV, no computer…..hubby did most all the cooking.   My only complaint is…I dropped my new cell phone in the lake on the first day we were there (don’t ask…I’m usually sooo protective of my electronics…..lets just say "it was an accident")  Good news though…. a miracle happened.  It still works with all it’s bells & whistles.  I’m not sure how or why it’s working….let’s just say God knew I couldn’t handle another defective phone for a year.  (FYI, I did jerk the battery out within seconds and put it in the oven for an hour and left it off for two days….my phone is a Palm Centro and I love it..even more so now that it survived a dunk in the lake & riding a wave.)

Sorry for the confusion, some of you thought I would return from my vacation sooner. I purposely didn’t put the exact dates on my blog due to the fact that you never know who may be reading the content.  Not that my dogs wouldn’t scare off someone but you just never know.  (We stopped taking the dogs to the lake, kids and dogs getting car sick was too much for me…you know what I mean??)

See ya tomorrow 🙂

p.s. don’t look to closely to the Snowman Card, I used my removable adhesive and I should have changed it before I took the picture. (When I’m creating I use the removable Dotto adhesive so I can move things around and not waste alot of product.)

  12. Love your cards with Deer Friends! I’m getting my set tomorrow too! I actually found your cards on SCS today first and loved them even before this!

I got my Palm Centro the day Verizon started selling them, and had been waiting FOREVER for them to get them. Love it! Now I feel even better to know that it can survive a dunking. What temperature do you set the oven on for drying out the battery, and how long do you “bake” it? Just in case…
