No, you’re not seeing things 🙂 I’m really posting a Christmas project in June.
Over the next few weeks I’m going to try to show you some projects using stamp sets that are retiring. Someone ask me which stamp set was I going to miss the most. There are several for many reasons but this one "Festive Favorites" wins hands down (runner up is…. It’s your Birthday).
I’ve also used retired designer paper…sorry…the only Stampin’ Up! Christmas paper I have is retired….but….not for long… the new Idea Book & Catalog is right around the corner!
Have a great day!
p.s. I’ll post a Video Tutorial on how to make this book later this week 🙂
Stamps: Festive Favorites
Ink: Black Stazon, Old Olive, Real Red & YoYo Yellow
Cardstock: Real Red, Very Vanilla & Dashing DP (retired)
Other: Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Red Brad, Aqua Painter, Paper Piercer, Chic Stand & Bind it All
Angie… what about Touched of Nature.. that is my most favorite one on the list that is retiring.. oh.. and It’s Your Birthday ~ use it ALL the time!!! very versatile set that I hope SU replaces with one just as awesome.
Back to sorting this room out.. the packers will be here next week followed by the movers and then off to TN and then to NC ~ happy stamping! Pam
Your book is awesome, Angie!! I love the papers, and your idea of getting a jump start on Christmas stuff. Wish I could be as motivated. *wink*
Love it! I just bought some Christmas paper at my very cool LSS! It is never too early! I look forward to your tutorial! Deb
I love Christmas and this is a great craft project to do for the holidays or anytime. Will there be more holiday tutorials? I like to make my holiday gifts in advance and summer/fall is a great time to get started little by little instead of working like crazy in November. Would love to see more! 🙂
Great idea to get started on Christmas now! Looking forward to the posting of the tutorial! Love your site!
