Isn’t this card cute? When I saw it on Laurie’s blog, I knew I had to case it!! Several years ago I collected dragonflies & fairies (I kinda still do, but only white or antique ones) and when I saw it, I knew right away I was going to make one. In fact, we’re making one at my April Card class on the 14th…….but….. not this one. I’ve got a prettier design in mind and I’ll show you as soon as I can get it made. If you’d like to register for my class or the kit, click here.
On this card I used the Pick a Petal stamp set for the wings and the greeting came from Just Celebrate (I’m not really obsessed with that set, it was on my desk and I thought the words "just because" really went with the dragonfly :)))
Quick post today….I didn’t have much time to stamp yesterday so I decided to make something quick & easy…..a new monogram card! Don’t you love it?
I used the Big Deal Alphabet Stamp set with Sweet Dreams (hostess level 2 set). All the cards but one measure 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 (or 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4)…but the one in the back is a full size. I had to try just one…but you know me…I like the smaller best!
I’m very excited to be offering my monthly card kits again!! Especially because I’ve created an easier way to do them. I’ve posted all the details on my Chic n’ Scratch Shack. Click here to head over there now!
You’ll be excited to hear that I’ve also designed a male version too, would you believe I think I like it even better? (Probably because it has River Rock & Old Olive.)
If you’ve purchased the April Birthday Card Club/Kit….they are packaged and headed to the post office this morning. Thanks again!!
Have a great Day!
p.s. Dave is on his first Fishing tournament of the year …..I hope he does well……but you know how much rain Missouri had a week ago… let’s hope the fish are biting!!!
I love this card! I had "thanks" on the brain all day yesterday. After working on my taxes for several days in a row, I realized I really owe several of my customers a note of thanks. I really truly appreciate each and everyone of you….more than I can express!!
Have you seen the Thanks for Everything stamp set? It’s one of those sets that you need to have…… if you’re big on the words thanks. If you’ve emailed me before…you know that it’s a word I use a lot! I am a thankful person :)))
Have a Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by!
p.s. Don’t you love that Afternoon Tea Designer Paper?
Here’s the picture my early birds saw this morning :))
How about one more notepad? Are you tired of them yet? I could actually show you more, what do you think? (I have another notepad that’s shaped differently and I’ve also used it many times.)
I had a really busy day yesterday and didn’t have any time to stamp 🙁 But, I did manage to get the video tutorial posted for this cute notepad. If you’d like to check that out, head over to my Stampin’ Academy!!
Have a great day!!
p.s. Chase got his braces put on yesterday (in addition to the herbst appliance) & I worked on our taxes :(( Next year I will be more prepared!!!! Seriously, I started a new system with my new file cabinet and I’m actually excited. See ya later…
I couldn’t resist showing you one more notepad!! I’ve used this notepad for years at my workshops and events. It’s super fast, super easy and cheap :O Okay, maybe I wasn’t supposed to tell ya that, especially if you’ve made them at one of my classes.
You can really spruce them up with some designer paper, ribbon and even some hodgepodge hardware!
Either later today or tomorrow, I’ll share with you a video tutorial on how to make these….I’ll also show you what the package looks like and where I get them….in other words…..to be continued…… 🙂
See ya tomorrow!!

Aren’t these notepads cute? I made them for my nieces….Cora & Savanna (hey girls….xoxo). No special occasion, I just wanted to make them something…..because I miss them terribly!!
