Isn’t this card so darling? Thanks Jennifer! I really love it! It makes me want to rush over to my desk and stamp with my "All in the Family" stamp set, now if I could just line up my family like that!! hee hee
The next card is from Bobbie, isn’t it beautiful? I love acetate cards, but I haven’t created one of my own… yet! Thanks Bobbie!
That’s all my stamping news today….I’m still having blog and computer issues. I’ve heard from some of you about my new banner, Thanks for the kind words!! But, I can’t see it, for some reason my computer still shows the old banner. Any suggestions? I’ve cleaned out the cookies, cleared all the history, rebooted a hundred times. I’m exhausted!! So, yesterday I got away and went to see "P.S. I love you" ….oh my….what a movie, loved it!!! I cried almost through the whole show ( I love those kind of movies). Did you know Denny from Grey’s Anatomy is in it? (yes, I know his real name is Jeffrey and charcter name in p.s. I love you is William/Billy.) Weird how we can remember some things and others just slip right out…this will crack you up….walking out of the theatre, I took off my glasses to put on my sunglasses and threw my glasses in the garbage…yikes, I didn’t have a coke or popcorn, just kleenex, not sure what I was thinking. Thank God, the trash was almost empty!! I just had to dig all the way to the bottom. hee hee and then of course I could hardly walk because I was laughing so hard. I’ll leave you with that today!!
Have a fantastic day and hope you get to laugh or cry if that makes you happy (you girls now what I mean!!) Thanks for stopping by!!
Very exciting news today! Drum roll please….I am launching a fun new Birthday Card Club/Kit!!! The general details are these:
A new card will be showcased each month.
There will be two cards in each kit – one completed and another to make (envelopes included). Kit contains the cardstock, designer paper, ribbon and scallop circle. All you’ll need to do is stamp and assemble!!
The cost of each kit will be $6.00 – shipping is FREE!
It starts in February and the deadline to order is Jan. 15th.
The bright and cheery card pictured here for February is the one you may recognize from a recent post. This preview is one-time only!! You’ll have to trust me in the coming months. Place your order sight unseen (think of it as a surprise!). Once payment has been received I will send you a password to view the card for that month. I understand that people have their own style and color preferences, so if the card doesn’t fit your personality you will have 3 days to cancel the order and your payment will be refunded. I will be cutting only once, so orders will need to be received by the 15th of each month. They will be shipped at the end of each month.
There are so many ways to use this kit. I have listed just a few here, but the possibilities are endless!
Mother/daughter activity -friends, sisters - Project to make with your child for their teacher - Scouting activity (Mother’s Day) - Activity for ladies group at church - Wonderful OT/Cognitive skill building/retention for senior center activity

We are back home from our holiday traveling and just wanted to give you a couple reminders. The Fall & Winter Stampin’ Up! If you would like to place an order, I’ll be ordering on Dec. 31st, one last time from the old catalog and I’ll be ordering again on Jan. 2nd for some new goodies. (Don’t forget, we can order anytime, I’m just letting you know just in case.) If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email (913-851-3336 or [email protected]).
p.s. I’m going to attempt (wish me luck) to recover from our traveling and I’ll share some photos & cards soon!
Today’s card is from one of the girls in my Chic n’ Scratch Group (my downline). Thanks Amy! I love this card!!! I’m also very sad this stamp is retiring in few days (and the Wintergreen Designer Paper too).
I’m really excited to share with you today’s project. As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator we receive a monthly publication called the "Stampin’ Success". This month, this cute little jar was in there and it featured our new rub ons that will be available Jan. 1st. You will love them, they are darling!!!
But, sorry to disappoint you, these rub ons are not Stampin’ Up! ….. it’s Christmas Eve and how could I show you a non Christmas idea? So, I dug in my scrapbooking supplies and found these. I’m not sure how long I’ve had them or even where I got them, but they work perfect for the occasion. I can’t wait for you to you see the ones we have in our new Catalog! They are beautiful!!
Here’s a closer view ….
Would you like to know what’s in the jar and why it isn’t full? (hee hee) They are Sunny Seed Drops and they are heavenly!! They are made right here in Lenexa, Kansas! They’re candy coated sunflower seeds. I searched my whole house looking for the perfect Christmas candy and this is what I found (lets not tell my hubby this was going to be one of his Christmas gifts). I only had one container, so that’s the reason the jar is not full (not because I ate half of them) :)))))
